Questions, answered.
The things people ask most before their first class. If yours is not here, send it through and we will answer it.
Do I need any experience to start?
No. Strong is a coached strength class for all fitness levels, and every exercise can be adjusted to suit your experience and ability. Strike takes complete beginners too, with no previous Muay Thai experience required.
What happens in a Strike class?
Technique, pad work, bag work, fitness and partner drills, in a women-only room with all experience levels training together. No previous Muay Thai experience is needed.
Who can attend each class?
Strong and Open Gym are open to men and women. Strike is women’s-only Muay Thai, open to every experience level.
Is my first class really free?
Yes. The first class is free for new members.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Weekly memberships need one month to cancel, and that is the only commitment. The up-front 3, 6 and 9 month options are non-refundable.
Can I just drop in occasionally?
Yes. A casual visit is $20 each time, with nothing ongoing.
Do you offer personal training?
Yes. Personal training is $60 a session and includes personalised programming through the app. Sessions run during Open Gym hours and must be booked in advance.
What is Open Gym?
Open Gym is independent training. You use the strength and fitness equipment to complete your own workout during designated Open Gym hours, which run Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:00 to 9:45am, and Saturday from 5:00 to 7:30am.
When are you closed?
The studio is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Tuesday and Thursday run afternoon and evening classes only, with no morning session.
Asked something we have not answered?
Maddie answers these herself, and there is no question about starting out that she has not already been asked.
